Tackling the plastic waste problem in Panama
PARKACTIVE has launched in January 2024 the implementation of the first plastic recycling processing plant in Panama. This major recycling plant will treat plastic wastes from Panama City, Colon and David. Collection programs nation-wide and along the Canal will be set up in partnership with communities and private partners.
Our facility benefits from Panama’s unique geographical advantages, existing logistics platforms and special economic zones, putting it in a good starting position. The country’s commitment to sustainable development aligns seamlessly with our mission and makes it an ideal location for this important project.
